My husband bought this to sit atop our fireplace mantel and I absolutely love the way it looks. It holds more than a 750ml bottle and doesnt leak. Weve gotten several compliments on this decanter. I included a pic from further away to show some scale because I think the close up pics make it look larger than it is...

The decanter is wonderful and holds more than enough of my medium sized bottles. The top glass \"cork\" is also very snug against the opening, so the only way to use the spigot is if you open it up a little because of the vacuum. This alleviates any issues with leaking.

Smaller than I expected, the wooden base color is greenish, still nice to have. I will however, have to change the wood color. I would certainly buy another one if they will make them in a bigger sizes, say double the size they have now.

Wife got this for me as a present. I really like it. However, she\'s the spiced rum drinker, I\'m the whiskey drinker. So we usually keep the rum in it for the theme.
Anyway, the base is a little light weight for such a nice decanter. I\'d like to see it a little better constructed for what I found out the cost of this decanter was. Maybe with some non-slip surfaces for the foot and rest?
There are a few other decanters from Prestige I like. Even with the gripe about the base (minimal) I will still probably purchase another one if I get the opportunity. Or ask for another as a gift.Value Quality Price - but still a great looking product

The glass is hand-blown borosilicate glass, this is a LEAD-FREE, thicker more resilient glass.

The ship inside is made out of glass, each one is intricately handcrafted by our master artisans.
The spigot is made out of stainless steel. The seal between the glass and the spigot is adjustable to ensure a seal for life.
The spigot is adjustable, there is a silver ring on the threaded part of the spigot towards the back, if you twist this ring the rubber seal will compress allowing it to fit snuggly within the glass. It doesn't need to be forced in, as you twist it and play with the fit you can test it with water to make sure the seal is perfect.
